What is Radiant Holistic Healing? To me, this is a space dedicated to healing and holistic well-being where compassion is non-negotiable. This journey began out of necessity and personal transformation, born from my own experiences with chronic illness. Living with heart disease has taught me invaluable lessons about resilience, balance, and the profound impact of stress on the body. It was through these trials that my business came to life, offering gentle guidance and support to others navigating their own paths to wellness.

Dealing with cardiomyopathy and heart failure was a turning point for me. My first steps toward recovery were small but significant—gentle and chair yoga became my foundation. These practices were not just exercises; they were lifelines that reconnected me with my body in a compassionate and nurturing way. They pushed me, but in a way that was safe for my weakened body. As I pushed forward and through a wonderful class on positive psychology in college, I discovered the calming and regulatory power of mindfulness and meditation through class readings from Jon Kabat-Zinn*. These practices helped steady my heart rate, soothe my nervous system, and taught me how to significantly reduce my stress levels in the moment and beyond. This personal transformation inspired me to share these tools with others, helping them "find the light within" even within life's inevitable ups and downs, especially for those battling chronic illnesses.

Radiant Holistic Healing Meditations

Healing, in its truest sense, encompasses more than just the physical. It’s about creating a balanced life and nurturing the body, mind, and spirit. Our bodies are inherently equipped with the remarkable ability to heal themselves, given the right environment and tools. While it’s important to note that healing in this field doesn't necessarily mean curing any diseases, it does mean fostering a state of balance and wellness that enhances overall health and can minimize the symptoms associated with or that can exacerbate illnesses (for example: stress + anxiety = bad for heart disease!). It's about helping you find your equilibrium, your homeostasis, and reduce stress levels to cultivate a life you love. It’s about being in a better head space to grow your relationships. It’s about knowing when to push yourself, and when to pull back and just be. Life in general has so many ups and downs, that being able to coast through those waves is so important.

At Radiant Holistic Healing, LLC., we offer a range of services designed to support you on your healing journey:

  • Yoga: The yoga classes we guide are perfect for all levels, especially those who need a softer approach due to health concerns. We currently focus primarily on gentle, chair assisted, yin and restorative yoga both in person and online. These sessions often focus on building the connection between your mind and your body through gentle movements and breathwork, promoting flexibility, strength, and relaxation.

  • Meditation & Yoga Nidra: Guided meditation and yoga nidra sessions help regulate your nervous system, lower stress, and improve mental clarity. By helping you enter specific brain wave patterns, we can help activate the parasympathetic nervous system which is where healing happens. These practices are essential for anyone looking to find peace and mindfulness in their daily life.

  • Reiki: This energy healing technique promotes relaxation and reduces stress. By channeling healing energy, Reiki sessions aim to restore balance and harmony within the body by using specific hand placements on or above the body by the practitioner, to improve the flow of Qi (or “Chi”), the vital energy force found in the human body and all living things.

  • Massage Therapy: Our licensed and skilled massage therapists provide treatments designed to relieve tension, improve circulation, and promote overall well-being. Each session is tailored to meet your specific needs.

  • Chakra Balancing: This practice focuses on aligning the body’s energy centers. Balancing your chakras can help remove blockages and encourage the free flow of energy, leading to improved health and vitality.
